8 Steps to Successful Group Travel Planning

1.  Determine a destination based on the preferences of the group

     a.  Do they want to travel domestically or internationally?
     b.  Are they adventurous?
     c.  Do they want a warm climate?
     d.  How long do they have to travel?
     e.  How much are they looking to spend?
     f.   Would they prefer a land tour, cruise or a land/cruise combination?
     g.  What kind of pace would be most appropriate?
     h.  Are they interested in nature & wildlife?
     i.   Are they interested in history & culture?

2.  Confirm trip details & return your contract

3.  Have flyers, and if needed, a power point presentation created by your 
     group manager

4.  Promote your trip by mail, telephone & email

5.  Collect deposits & send in to secure space

6.  Collect final payments

7.  Host a documents party about 2 weeks before your group departs
